Open Door has achieved charitable status (1124168), a recognition of the worthiness of its work. It aims to promote ease of access and an opportunity to learning for the local community, at times to suit everyone. We work with two other "partners" (Manor Training and Resource Centre in Sheffield and Swarthmore Education Centre in Leeds) in delivering our Skills Funding Agency contract, and our supply chain management fee for these two partners is less than 1% of the contract value we subcontract to them. Should we subcontract with any new provider, our supply chain management fee will be 12% initially, with a decreasing sliding scale based upon performance and quality of delivery. This policy, along with all of our policies, is available for download here.
OPEN DOOR ADULT LEARNING CENTRE has a central goal that strives to aid community regeneration by providing training courses to everyone irrespective of age, race, disability, ethnicity or gender.

From June 2014 we are delivering NCFE accreditation, specialising in Functional Skills at all levels up to full level 2 in Maths, English and ICT, also delivering Certificates at level 2 in Equality and Diversity, and in Mental Health Awareness.
